| Contract Engineer for Qatar VINIRMA Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is a 360degree Human Resource Management Consulting and Staffing Services Organization with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Australia, USA, Singapore & India. VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for Contract Engineer for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in Qatar with the following skill set and terms and conditions. Skill Set required: • B. Sc. in an engineering disciplines, • Minimum 7 years industry experience; preferably in consultancy/contracting • Good knowledge of contract administration and conditions, FEDIC, contract practices, legal aspects and negotiation skills. • Demonstrates high level communication skills • Ability to speak, write and communicate effectively in English. • Adept at Microsoft office and other relevant computer software • Prepares tender documents, and finalizes them with Legal, and user Departments. • Evaluates contractors capabilities, • Prepares invitation to tender, develops final draft for management approval and issues tender documents. • Reviews and coordinates the reply to technical clarifications. • Follows up on the submission of performance bank guarantees and insurances, and verifies and recommends acceptance of such guarantees • Receives and verifies payment, claims and requests for variations, applies his judgment and proposes negotiation strategies and meetings, and attends such meetings to settle variations and claims. • Monitoring contract costs, evaluating contractor performance and periodic reporting.
