| Mechanical HVAC Engineer Knowledge with Elite/CHVAC or HAPP for HVAC load calculations. • Knowledge of local regulations such as Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Sharjah Municipality and JAFZA. Knowledge of British Standard and NFPA. • Design of air cooled as well as water cooled central plants. • Knowledge of designing water supply, drainage, fire fighting LPG system and other plumbing systems is a big plus. • Able to take on the Mechanical design from Concept stage to tender stage. • UAE and/or GCC experience is preferred. • Sector of Experience Required: High rise Buildings, Villas, Apartments, Offices, Hotels Qualification: • Mechanical Engineering degree or other Engineering degree • 8 years with 2 years minimum in Dubai/Abu Dhabi Experience: • Experience of leading a small team • Good communication skills • Liaison with other in-house disciplines (Architect, Structural, Electrical) • Looking for a pro-active candidate able to prioritize and work to deadlines. Must be able to use initiative and be able to co-ordinate and communicate with other in-house disciplines. Applicant must have a good work ethic and good personality. • This position is for our Design Consultancy office. Candidates must come from a design consultancy experience background. | |
