| Logistics Contract Manager £25,000 UK net - equivilant with benefits & tax free status to £65,000. Fed up with the gloomy weather and the even gloomier economic climate? A major third party logistics provider in Dubai has asked us to source permanent and interim Logistics Contract Managers. Our client is recognized as being a leader in warehouse management and design and from their state-of- the-art facility in Dubai they provide shared user resources for some of the world’s top brands across a diverse range of industries. The site has the capacity to handle a high number of product lines from a multi-customer base, using high bay, mobile, palletised, shelved and bulk storage solutions. The facility also offers specialist multi temperature storage areas. The successful candidate will have held a similar position within a 3PL environment which will have given them an in-depth understanding of logistics issues and strong hands on operational experience. You will be very much a people person who has the ability to communicate across all levels; someone who on one hand will feel comfortable managing the interface with clients’ senior management teams and won’t be afraid to explore opportunities for new business whilst on the other have the ability to get the best from their team whilst working under pressure. You will be firmly committed to service and quality and have the drive and enthusiasm to exceed customers’ expectations within set budgetary parameters. The role will be instrumental in achieving company profit objectives so it goes without saying that you will a proven track record of budgetary achievement along with a high level of computer competency in order to produce reports to reflect performance levels such as cost, volume and service delivery.
