| Creative Graphic Designer Job Title In House Creative Graphic Designer Brand/Department Marketing & Advertising Reports To Marketing Manager Supervises N/A A. Purpose and Scope A Creative Graphic Designer is responsible for conception creation and execution of marketing – creative for campaigns & individual projects. To produce visual matter that expresses the marketing and advertising communication requirements of the company. B. Specific Duties and Responsibilities · Understand Night Owl Brand as well as each Restaurant and Night Club brand and the importance of on – Brand Design. · Meeting with creative director and/or management members to discuss and interpret their needs, by making recommendations about which designs issues are critical and need Escalation. · Development of graphic design, advertising, communications and industrial design publication. · Responsible for conceptualization and design of solutions from Concept of completion in regards to collateral material , environmental graphics, books & magazines , corporate identity & multimedia interfaces from concept to completion. · Developing design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues; · Thinking creatively to produce new ideas; · Using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time and client. · Help and establish the conceptual and Stylistic direction for the marketing team and orchestrate their related works. · To perform the work of production artists, photographers, illustrators, prepress technicians, printers & anyone who is involved in the development of the project. · Using a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design · Producing accurate and high quality work; · Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief; · Keeping abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programs. · Working well in a team, with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists; · Able to stay on project schedule to deliver projects on time and estimate/manage own time accurately and effectively. Working to tight deadlines. · Any other task required to complete the job function adequately C. Attainments & Requirements A. Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design. B. Min 3yrs professional work experience in respective field. C. Hospitality /Retail/marketing creative background preferred D. Critical Competencies, Skills and Abilities · Excellent Communication, leadership & organizational skills. · Solution Oriented Thinking rather than just highlighting problems. · Understand the importance of flexibility and the balance of speed and quality · A good command of typography ,colour, composition ,hierarchy ,and how these elements work together for the design solution · Ability to plan, guide and prioritize tasks · Must be able to multi-task & have imaginative flair · Must be fluent in the English language – Written & Spoken · Arabic speaking a plus · Complete knowledge and be a master of Photoshop, illustrator, Dream weaver In Design Premier, flash and/or or any other graphic design related software.
