Our Client is the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. They are an industry-leading product in an online resource designed specifically for the work flow information needs of attorneys engaged in complex commercial transactions.

To support accelerated business growth and product expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, they ares seeking an EMEA and Islamic Finance Law Content and Product Manager. The candidate selected for this position will be a subject matter expert and product development resource for our Clients Global Legal division.

This position will manage new product and content development and ongoing enhancements for the Business service. Responsibilities include the development and successful launch of new EMEA and Islamic Finance Law products, features and functionality. Responsible for managing multiple product development efforts in specialized areas of legal practice and across market sectors, this position will work closely with customers, colleagues and strategic partners to identify opportunities and deliver market-leading services and business value.

Education and Experience

• Undergraduate law degree strongly preferred (LLB or equivalent) / MBA desirable.
• Prior experience in commercial legal practice, such as securities, finance or corporate law strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of Islamic Finance Law, and underlying business transactions required.
• Familiarity with practices and publications of government agencies and standards bodies a definite advantage.
• Experience with web-based businesses and business models or publishing preferred.
• Experience of working across geographies, in particular within EMEA region preferred.
• Fluent Arabic and business level English required.
• Working knowledge of other languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Broad, solid knowledge of commercial legal practice and industry.
• Ability to analyze and anticipate customer needs, competitor activities and market trends.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, in particular in drafting / documentation
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize complex and concurrent projects adapting to changing priorities to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Proven leadership and management skills, including leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills (spoken, written, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building).
• Ability to work without supervision and exercise sound independent judgment.
• Travel Required
