Bodycote is the world's largest and most respected supplier of Testing and Thermal Processing services

Functions:
- Based in the UAE, but working in a regional business area, the Business Development Manager will identify, negotiate and manage major business opportunities, along with maintaining and growing profitable key accounts within the oil and gas, materials testing and renewable energy markets.
- Reporting to the Regional Development Director the main functions will:
- Explore potential opportunities to expand service areas utilizing technology/knowledge transfer from other geographies within the group
- Understand the Regional strategy and to ensure the effective integration of the MTET offerings.
- Work with the in country General Managers to create and implement a coordinated Business Development strategy targeting new clients and leveraging existing relationships within the region
- Identify new markets to sell our current service portfolio to, as well as new clients within the existing markets.
- Continue to generate sales growth in areas of strength alongside expanding the service provision into new areas
- Identify and define strategies and business models for regional cooperation
- Establish and develop effective commercial relationships with existing and potential clients
- Prepare proposals and tender documents.

Requirements:
- Candidates for this senior post should have appropriate engineering, technical or professional qualifications.
- They will be accomplished, result oriented, with a demonstrable track record of developing new markets and establishing new business in a similar business model
- Will have extensive knowledge and experience of the materials testing market and have top class communication and presentation skills
- They will possess strong commercial acumen and an engaging nature
