| Marine Engineer (coastal) Qualifications required: Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering or hydraulic engineering. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience Skills set: · Computer Literate. · Ability to prepare financial studies and recommendations. · Reporting Skills. · Time Management Skills. · Supervising Skills. · Customer relation · English Language. · Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills. · Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. · Communication Skills. Responsibility: · Coordinate and organize the works of the Design Section of the Maritime Projects department for Designing of Infrastructure, facilities and institutions required for an implementation of a Public Water Transport system for Dubai; · Directly liaise with consultants for marine project designing contracts including preparation of terms of references for constancy contracts. · Assist marine Projects Execution section providing technical advice during construction and maintenance activities of marine projects · Represent the Maritime Projects Department at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions. · Other duties as assigned by Director of Maritime Projects Department. | |
