HR Advisor

a) Ensure that all Human Resources activity is carried out fairly, consistently and confidentially in accordance with the Group Management System Procedures, Group Human Resources standards, client specific requirements, where appropriate, and any applicable legislative requirements.
(b) Support the Group Human Resources Manager(s) in the preparation, development and implementation of appropriate Human Resources policies and procedures.
(c) Liaise with, and advise, operational and functional managers with regards to their recruitment and resource requirements.
(d) Support the transfer of existing employees, where possible, to meet resource requirements and individual career aspirations.
(e) Use effective recruitment and selection practices to source suitably qualified and experienced external candidates, as appropriate, to meet resource requirements.
(f) Supervise the preparation and issue of contractual paperwork including offer letters and contracts of employment, confirmation of changes to terms and conditions and any salary-related matters.
(g) Provide advice and guidance on contractual issues in line with employee contracts of employment, and associated terms and conditions of employment.
(h) Support the performance appraisal process and ensure appropriate follow-up, with particular emphasis on training and development needs, career development aspirations and readiness for promotion.
(i) Provide support to operational and functional managers in the preparation of succession plans for their respective teams, ensuring suitable development plans are in place.
(j) Provide appropriate advice and guidance on performance management issues, encouraging the use of documented discussions and performance improvement plans as required.
(k) Facilitate exit interviews and ensure appropriate action and follow-up of any highlighted issues.
(l) Collate market data with regards to remuneration, compensation and benefits to ensure terms and conditions of employment remain both competitive and commercially viable.
(m) Develop and supervise the distribution of employee travel information to include appropriate safety and security information, emergency contact details and associated medical and insurance cover.
(n) Supervise the maintenance of the Human Resources database and employee files to ensure the accurate and confidential administration of all employee details, including associated payroll process requirements.
(o) Work with Company Medical Advisors to provide appropriate support and advice to employees.
(p) Be familiar with and, at all times, prepared for their role within the Emergency Response Procedures, participating in out-of-hours / on-call duty rotas as required.
(q) Compile Human Resources reports and statistics as required by the Group Human

Responsibilities

Safety

(a) Be familiar with the Group's HSEQ standards, policies and procedures and take all reasonable care to ensure the health and safety of themselves and persons likely to be affected by their acts or omissions.
(b) Be familiar with, and work in support of, the Group's Annual HSEQ plan and objectives.
(c) Be familiar with role within Emergency Response Procedure.
Financial
(a) Support Group Human Resources Manager in meeting the requirements of the departmental budget.
(b) Maintain awareness of operational-related costs related to travel and medical requirements and work to support the appropriate operational and functional managers in managing associated costs. Systems and Processes
(a) Identify areas requiring improvement and discuss suggestions with the Group Human Resources Manager.
(b) Where required as Action Party, close out RFA's and RAF's in a timely manner.
(c) Ensure compliance with all Group Human Resources standards, policies and procedures.
(d) Review, and where necessary recommend changes to, appropriate policies and procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with appropriate legislation.
