| Snr Architect My client is an industry leader with a worldwide reputation for excellence. They are urgently looking for a Senior Architect to complete their team for a prestigous hotel project. The ideal candidate: Will be a degree qualified Architect with a minimum of 10 years experience in Commercial and Residential projects. The candidate should be competent in technical detailing and design, co-ordination of drawings and proficient in the use of AutoCAD. Middle East / UAE experience would be an advantage. Technical Competencies Essential Experience in detail design, production of shop drawings is required. Should be able to analyze technical/construction/build-ability issues and prepare shop drawings in compliance with consultants drawings and specifications and coordinated with engineering and other disciplines Must be familiar with AutoCAD software used by the office (AutoCAD 2005) Must have a minimum of 8 years in AutoCAD experience Should know MS Office Word and Excel Good grasp of Architectural and Engineering principles Exposure to international detailing practice Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both written and verbal Must be able to learn and retain new skills quickly from a variety of sources and show potential to work with limited supervision Should have ability for self checking & correction of work Experience in fit out (ID) would be a preference, however, experience in a variety of buildings such as hotels, and mixed-use buildings will be considered.
