Sales Associate x4

Currently recruiting for an upcoming fashion boutique. The sales associate is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of outstanding customer service, product knowledge, generating sales, inventory management, merchandising and sustaining overall retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the store; initiate the sales process, offer them qualified advise on the available products, recommend/demonstrate appropriate products; and promote cross selling with a view to meet the customers' needs.
• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed according to standard layout norms (product placement, signage, neat and well folded, arranged in order from smallest to largest, hanged items must be steamed, size wise, etc.)
• Ensure all products are price tagged and bar-coded before display
• Ensure correct rotation of stock on shelves and assist in accurate stock counts as per store requirements
• Ensure all stock administration (stock count, dispatch and delivery) are recorded on the system in time, accurately and correctly categorized
• Maintain an up-to-date database of customers visiting the store
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping standards are maintained in store at all times
• Understand the stores policies and ensure effective implementation
• Help store merchandiser in product placement and arrangement
• Dress up mannequins & attend to other visuals
• Maintain a clean and well-organized back- stock area
• Operate as a cashier and be consistently accurate in money handling
• Understand and utilize all reports required for the day to day functioning of the store
• Carry out linked selling i.e. understand the customer’s need and close the deal
• Keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and releases in the market
• Know the benefits of our products and services from our customers' perspective
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of the merchandise/ products stocked in the store
• Ensure promotions and fast selling lines are featured in the store
• Provide information about the customers (likes, dislikes and opinions) to related department
• Ensure effective stock replenishment to the store and assure continuous stock availability, on-going recovery & maintenance in the store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 1 year sales or customer service experience preferably in fashion/retail store
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Arabic is a plus
• Outgoing, Strong customer service skills, Team player, Availability to work in shifts, Age up to 30 years old
