| Financial Editor/Writer - Capital Markets We are looking for someone who is passionate, detailed, articulate, self-motivated and who possesses the kind of work ethic that will help us achieve our goal: to create the best online Financial Resource Center in the Middle East. Description: As Senior Financial Editor/Analyst you will have a strong knowledge of the financial markets, fundamental analysis, economics, investing and trading. Provide independent articles and research to investors and traders within the Arab financial markets. Help put together a team of freelance writers and analysts producing proprietary online content, reviewing 3rd party research, guide the agenda and edit work of the team. Keep audience up-to-date by identifying key trends, activities, and issues important to market participants. The candidate will be covering the Middle East financial markets, related sectors, companies, economies and market participants, rewriting/editing stories and analysis, managing contributing writers, and writing original content on a regular frequent basis. Requirements: Excellent written English English/Arabic preferred MBA, Economics degree or CFA preferred Exceptional communication skills and professionalism At least 3 years of journalism/editorial experience or an equivalent blend of financial market analysis and editorial experience. o Writing/editing samples required Understanding of fundamental analysis, investment strategies, and decision support tools Experience with stock markets, equity analysis and supporting investment/trading decisions Able to effectively communicate to retail as well as a professional audience Experience in financial research, investment banking or financial services a plus Works well under tight deadlines Remuneration will be commensurate with knowledge and experience. The package will include a bonus component based on performance and, after a probationary period, annual leave and health insurance.
